The Simulation Hypothesis

Life is more than a simulation.

Do you think we are born just to obey and follow the laws of physics and laws of nature?

Don’t say ‘Yes’ to that question you wild one or should I call you a freak?

What is a simulation?

In simple terms, a simulation is a copy or a "fake" version of something real.

  • A Digital Copy: Imagine a video game like The Sims or GTA. The characters think their world is real, but it is actually just code running on a computer.

  • Math vs. Matter: In a simulation, things like trees, rocks, and people aren't made of "stuff" (atoms); they are made of information (math and logic).

  • The "Player" or "Programmer": If our world is a simulation, it means someone—or something—outside of our reality created the software and is watching us.

  • The Argument: People like Elon Musk argue that technology is improving so fast that one day we will create "virtual worlds" that look 100% real. If that's possible, they ask: "How do we know we aren't already inside one?"

Where did the word ‘simulation’ came from?

The word "Simulation" has deep roots in history, originally meaning "to pretend" or "to hide the truth."

  • Latin Origin: It comes from the Latin word simulatio (to imitate or copy) and simulare (to make like).

  • Original Meaning: For centuries, it meant deceit or hypocrisy. If you were "simulating," you were pretending to be something you weren't.

  • Scientific Shift: In the 1940s and 50s, with the invention of computers, the meaning changed. Scientists began using it to describe a mathematical model of a real-world process (like a flight simulator).

  • Modern Philosophy: In the late 20th century, philosophers like Jean Baudrillard used it to describe how our society is becoming more about symbols and images than the actual objects they represent.

  • Pop Culture: Films like The Matrix turned it into a household term, making people wonder if our entire reality is just high-tech "pretending."

Back in AD, did people really thought about simulation, if they thought about simulation what it was looks like?

Back in AD (the Common Era), people didn't have computers, so they didn't think of a "digital" simulation. Instead, they thought of reality as a dream, an illusion, or a shadow.

Here is what the "Simulation Hypothesis" looked like before technology:

  • The Shadow (Plato - Ancient Greece): Plato described a cave where people are chained, watching shadows on a wall. They think the shadows are real. He argued that our physical world is just a low-quality "copy" or shadow of a perfect, divine reality.

  • The Dream (Hinduism/Buddhism): The concept of Maya suggests that the world we see is an illusion or a "cosmic play." It’s like a dream we are all having together. The goal is to "wake up" to the true reality.

  • The Evil Demon (René Descartes): Later on, Descartes famously wondered: "What if an all-powerful, evil demon is tricking my mind into seeing and feeling a world that isn't actually there?" This is the closest ancient idea to a "Programmer."

  • The Prison (Gnosticism): Early Gnostic thinkers believed the physical world was a flawed, heavy "simulation" created by a lesser, ignorant god to keep our souls trapped away from the true, light-filled Divine.

The Difference:

  • Today: We think we are inside a computer.

  • Back then: They thought they were inside a dream or a prison.

Both ideas agree on one thing: What you see with your eyes is not the whole truth.

One of my masters, David Icke who saved my life and soul from Covid-19 hoax, claims and believes that the Universe and Galaxies are a simulation which is an information field.

Our bodies are advanced biological computers which decode information from the field through five senses and our eyes only can receive a tiny band of frequency of light which is so tiny compared to the Universal Light Spectrum, in brief like a Matrix movie.

This podcast video I share is about a matrix movie, how they directed and imitated the name of Greek gods.

Figure: Meme I found from the internet

I know I was living in the real world because of sense of humor or human nature.
Some of us believe that we are living in a simulation, because in 21st century we can see simulation in everywhere.
Back in 90's or ask your parents that "Do you think we are living in a simulation."
What will they answer?
To the simulation(Matrix) believers everything is nothing but 0 and 1, a holographic simulation room.
But there was no scientifically proof or ancient text for that.
The only scientifically proofs and ancient texts for human evolution were we are made of stardust, bones, blood, flesh and have a SOUL.
